Rearing and emerging kits

Book your kit now. Pickup in Granby or delivery in September 2017

The rearing and emerging kits offered by Gaia Nature allow you to observe the spectacular transformation process through which a caterpillar becomes a monarch butterfly.

These kits are easy to use and perfect as an activity in school setting or as a birthday gift. Rear your monarchs and release them in the nature in order to help repopulate this natural jewel. The bag of milkweed seeds provided with the kit allows you to grow a small oasis to attract monarchs the following summer.

By purchasing a breeding kit, you will bring your students to learn about the lifecycle and the migration of one of the most beautiful butterflies in Quebec. Also, the tags provided with the kit will allow your pupils to take part in the Monarch Watch, a Pan American study on the monarch migration.
